It was very cute but we wanted more of a modern cottage on the lake feel with a hint of coastal. The prior lake house design was more of a cabin or camp style. Our motto for this kitchen space was to keep it simple while still making it look nice.

The window didn’t open and the door was broken so they both needed to be either replaced or removed so we opted to remove and enlarge the kitchen.
